If you ask an American what comes to mind when hearing the words “graham crackers”, nine out of 10 times they will most likely answer “S’mores”.
S’mores are a campfire favourite in North America and Canada and consist of fire-toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate sandwiched between two graham crackers.
Indulgent, yet surprisingly not over-sweet, these scrolls are inspired by all these elements, with a yeast-based dough containing graham crackers milled into a flour which gives them their wholesome appearance. It is then rolled out and covered with a dark chocolate spread, some homemade marshmallow fluff and more graham-cracker chunky crumbs before being rolled and sliced into scrolls. It will definitely have you calling for s’more (sorry)!
