Dry Ingredients
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1 cinnamon stick, broken up
½ teaspoon black peppercorns
2 dried bay leaves
2 tablespoons ground sweet paprika
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
Wet ingredients
2 cloves garlic, peeled
20 grams long red chillies, seeds removed
40 grams fresh ginger
40 grams vegetable oil
200 grams thick natural yoghurt
Method
- Place the coriander and cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, peppercorns and bay leaf into the Thermomix bowl. Toast 5 minutes/Varoma/speed soft.
- Add paprika, turmeric and salt then toast again 5 minutes/Varoma/speed soft.
- Mill 1 minute/speed 9, scrape down the bowl and the lid and repeat.
- Then add all the wet ingredients and blend 1 minute/speed 9.
