Homemade marshmallow is one of the extraordinary luxuries made not only possible but oh-so-easy by the Thermomix. Many of us might not have contemplated tackling such an ambitious (and messy) project before our mighty MasterChef helper appeared in our kitchen, opening a whole new world of exciting possibilities. There are a few recipes out there, but in the spirit of MasterChef, this conversion was inspired by none other than French Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse. Use good quality vanilla paste or try orange blossom water for an exotic touch (see our Moroccan Rocky Road recipe page 100). Both are simply divine and guaranteed to make your next toasted marshmallow sticks a true gastronomic experience.
